I use sequenced assignments to plan all of my courses.
Sequencing assignments allows educators to think purposefully about each piece of a course and to break their major assignments down into step-by-step processes, which helps students feel less overwhelmed and learn strategies they can use beyond the classroom. This is a visualization of eight sequences I use in WRT 106 at URI, Introduction to Research Writing.
